Internal Audits

Our Nuclear Lead Auditor will travel to your site and perform an internal audit individually or with your personnel as auditors (a great way to earn audits toward Nuclear Lead Auditor Certification). The Nuclear Lead Auditor will audit your program to evaluate it for compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, ASME NQA-1, NCA-3800/4100/4200, as applicable. Internal audits will be performed in accordance with the checklist that your program requires.

Supplier Audits and Commercial Grade Surveys

Our Nuclear Lead Auditor will travel to your supplier’s site and perform an audit or survey individually or with your personnel as auditors (a great way to earn audits toward Nuclear Lead Auditor Certification). Depending on the supplier, a technical expert from your company may be required to ensure that the technical aspects of the supplier’s program are adequate. External audits and surveys will be performed in accordance with the checklist that your program requires.

 

Gap Analysis

Our Nuclear Lead Auditor will travel to your site and perform a mock internal audit to determine the areas that your developing program needs to focus on. The goal of a Gap Analysis is to make sure that there are no holes in your program when it is nearing completion but well before you are about to start your internal audit process and/or be audited by a customer.

 

Program Development

Acuity Quality Assurance will assist your company with development of an NQA-1 based quality manual and associated procedures.  Site visits may be required to determine details necessary for the manual and procedures.

 

ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 Audits

Based on customer needs, Acuity Quality Assurance can also perform ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 audits, typically along with a nuclear audit.
